We help hundreds of customers who sell online using Amazon, eBay, Volusion, BigCommerce, Shopify, Etsy, and many other online marketplaces. Our web-based shipping application streamlines the order fulfillment process for anyone selling online.

About the Role

As a Client Onboarding Specialist, you’ll manage the onboarding and ramp-up of clients buying SaaS services for e-commerce shipping processing and automation. Onboarding Specialists will also serve as Account Managers - they are the client’s first point of contact and are responsible for the training and activation of new accounts as well as providing ongoing customer support. They’re responsible for driving full product adoption (turning trial users into subscribers) and are customer advocates in regards to future product enhancements.


  • Outbound calling warm leads to encourage adoption of our product
  • Complete onboardings and training's for new users and answer any questions they have getting started
  • Answer Inbound calls to assist users with any issues or questions they have
  • Answer Support Emails
  • Rapid response to client inquiries and requests
  • Same-day response times to client inquiries
  • Product demonstrations
  • Advocating internally for clients (Submitting user feedback to product dev for example)
  • As assigned, being an evangelist for SmartShyp at events, trade shows, etc.
  • Job Type: Full-time


  • > 1 year experience in a client-facing role
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce, shipping, and/or B2B or SaaS products
  • Ability to think critically and identify a problem’s most fundamental elements
  • Proactive, well-organized, and strong attention to detail
  • Able to drive multiple accounts simultaneously, each at different stages
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and frequent change
  • Proficient in MS Office and a CRM
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and excited about being in a startup environment
  • Proven work ethic
  • Experience with e-commerce or running your own e-commerce business (a BIG plus)
